This is just a brief personal blog.
I would like to thank everyone for their kind words and thoughts recently as Marc has not been too good, and I have taken a step back from some of the things I do with BGSG, temporarily.
The care and compassion we have received has been truly humbling, and certainly has helped me to feel not so alone, knowing you are rooting for us both is amazing.
During the last 16 years I have talked and met many grandparents, and it has been a privilege to be able to hopefully support and help them in the darkest of times.
I am eternally grateful to the wonderful friends I have made along the way.
I am hopeful that normal service will resume soon and I will begin to have zoom meetings again shortly.
At present I do intend to carry on with our face to face meeting here in April.
In the meantime if you ring our helpline, it may take me a little longer than usual to return your calls, so please be patient with me, just for a little while.
