For many years we have had the support of John Darvall and Radio Bristol, who were always happy for us to go and talk to them about how BGSG was progressing, and we always said that if or when we were reunited with our granddaughter we would go and talk to them about it.
So in May 2018, we kept our word and did an interview with John about the amazing news that our granddaughter was back in our lives.
What we didn’t know at the time, was that our granddaughter who knew we were doing an interview, listened to it in a lay bye in the North East.
We got home to a message from her, saying,” Well done, great interview.”
BGSG was set up in our granddaughters name, to now have her endorsement in what we do, is just fantastic.
I hope this interview gives estranged and alienated grandparents hope.
