As I have already mentioned June 14th is Grandparent Alienation Awareness Day, and to mark the day we are inviting grandparents to join us in our ‘Pebbles of Love,’ campaign.
We have tried to make it as simple as possible for everyone, it is as I have already posted, about raising awareness, and all you need is a pebble or more than one, decorate it in any way you wish and attach the explanation note and leave it somewhere where it will be seen, I have also written on mine that the finder is welcome to take the pebble home with them.
Obviously the more pebbles the greater the impact.
It would be lovely if you could take a photo of yours so that we can post them on social media.
Here is an example, I have tied ribbon around mine, attached to the explanation note.
I have been asked when they need to be placed, I don’t actually think it matters, as long as it is either before or on on June 14th.
You could send a picture of yours to your MP and explain about this campaign.
I have also sprayed mine with varnish to protect it from the weather, but it is not necassary
Please do email me if you require the note of explanation to jane@bgsg.co.uk.
Have fun.
