RIP Anne O’Regan

Today I heard the very sad news of the passing of a wonderful lady.

Anne O’Regan worked tirelessly and continuously for all of us who are estranged/alienated from our children/grandchildren.

She was a true campaigner on so many subjects, she was a voice for injustices, today the light have gone out for so many.

Everyone at Bristol Grandparents Support Group will always be eternally grateful for everything she did on the behalf of those facing the living bereavement of being apart from family members.

I thank her for her friendship and support she always gave me, along this lonely journey I have met some truly wonderful and inspirational people and Anne was most certainly inspirational.

When we lose these very special people it is incumbent on all of us to continue where they have left off, to continue to be the voice of children and families.

Anne herself was estranged from her grandchildren, and absolutely walked in our shoes.

Life is short and precious.

My thoughts are with Annes’ family and friends, the world is a darker place today.
