Why a dandelion clock?

I am often asked what is the significance of our logo, being a dandelion clock, I can’t take any credit for that but it was our talented web designer who came up with the idea.

Everyone will have a different interpretation of it, but for me it sums up brilliantly the memory of my granddaughter.

The brilliant sunshine yellow of the dandelion in full flower on a Summers day, it is how I remember her. Her sunny smile, bright and brilliant, until one day when we lost contact with her as represented by the dandelion clock.

Fragile and delicate, just one light breeze and it flies away.

The dandelion clock reminds me everyday of the thousands if not millions of grandparents who have lost their grandchildren, in most cases inexplicably,  millions of tiny seeds have been blown away on the breeze.
